Billing systems question

 06-07-23 

What billing systems do counties that have mental health clinics use to bill MMIS or at least capture the information (electronic health record) so that they can input the claim into MN-ITS?  These would be services that mental health professionals would provide, not mental health TCM.

    Hello,

    The Scott County Mental Health Center uses Vireo (Local company - Iron Range Computer Services) Our therapists enter the EHR, and those notes are "pushed" over to billing once they are complete. We then can upload the claims into our clearinghouse. We bill all insurance with this system and all can be uploaded into the clearinghouse (Availity)
