Systems used to bill for services that SSIS does not

 02-07-2023

What system(s), if any, do counties use to bill services that SSIS doesn’t already bill for them.  For example, OBRA screenings, Officer-Involved Care Coordination, Intensive Treatment for Foster Care, SUD billings, etc.  Did your county’s IT department create something for you?  If so, what platform do they use?  If you purchased a billing software, what is the name of it?

Thanks

  1. Lavelle K-Cass Co HHVS - We purchased a SS version of PHDOC (our public health system) that can extract time from SSIS. We use this for batch billing to PMAPS. If we have MA services that SSIS doesn't claim, then we just direct data enter those into MNITS. We could set up SS-PHDOC for this, but we just don't have that many. lavelle.kroontje@casscountymn.gov

  2. Mary W- MNPrairie We use MN ITS for straight MA clients, MN EConnect for South Country and UCARE, and Availity for BCBS. We do extract the data from SSIS and upload in batches as much as we can. OBRA screenings are entered in individually. Our IT does has not assisted with creating software for billing purposes. Mary.wacek@mnprairie.org
