We have social workers purchasing school clothes and
supplies for their CMH clients (not OHP), along with other things to help with
their goals such as journals, sensory items, etc. Sometimes we’ll have a
grant for this, but this year I don’t think we will/do. The social
workers are using BRASS 430 for this, but it doesn’t seem like the right fit to
me. Is there a better funding source for these types of purchases?
Where are other counties putting these types of expenses?

We would use 430. On the CMH screening grant budget worksheet, it looks like BRASS 430 can include independent living skills, as well as leisure/recreational activities. I think that's probably the best option.
