Does anyone have a writeoff policy that they can share
that covers Public Health receivables, collections especially for detox and
mental health, as well as uncashed warrants?

I can email you our write off policy. As far as uncashed warrants here is a link to the holder guide. We try to do due diligence and send a letter out when the check is uncashed for 90 days. It does not always happen right away but easier to locate vendors when you don't wait too long. I have a database and even though we do not need to keep sending letters, I will try to locate until we turn it over to uncashed property.
