Question from Kim at Watonwan County:
We have been using MNE-Connect for all of our PMAP billings and have two accounts. There is message on their page stating that Non-Participating Payers will need to pay a set-up fee as well as an annual fee. I called the number to inquire, and they have already removed the non UCare and South Country Alliance PMAPs from my account. I am unable to submit my January billing. Can you tell me what your county uses as a billing clearinghouse? MNE-Connect is outrageous.

We use Availity for most of our PMAP billings. However, have not set up the batch billing through Availity yet, because it was just easier to do it through MNE-Connect. I just received that message from MNE-Connect for the first time this morning. We have two accounts with them as well and are working at phasing our billing out through them.
ReplyDeleteSibley uses MN E-Connect for majority of TCM, Waiver and Immunization billing. We have 2 accounts as well. Sibley also uses Office Ally for Public Health batch billing, batch is created in PH-DOC. We utilize Availity for BCBS and Blue Plus billing. Availity is used for batch billing for Public Health services and, on rare occasions, for manual billing for Waiver services.
